In the following post I will put a key focus on how you can cross Switzerland via the Gotthard Tunnel and
where you will find suitable places to charge your Tesla.
If I have forgotten a place please let me know in the comment or contact us here at Swissxover.
Tesla uses the public charging station adapter (J1772, 72 amp capable).

Dübendorf Zürich: Lidl (Discounter) .This charger is a long the A1 towards Bern. Leave the A1 at the exit 65 Wallisellen.

Go from Basel to Zürich. At the Limmattaler Kreuz leave the A1 to go onto the A3 towards Chur.
Then at the crossing Zürich West leave the A3 to go onto to the A4 towards Luzern.

J. Meyer shared his experience driving from Uster (near Zurich) through the Gotthard tunnel.
After travelling for 234 km he had 42% of battery power left. By passing the Gotthard tunnel he as well
was able to win some energy back. See his report in German.
